Samantha Blackmore Dip Couns MBACP
Emotional well being is something we can all take for granted, carrying on with our busy, hectic lives and before we know it we realise we have been struggling with emotions and feelings for some time. This can impact on important relationships and affect your self esteem which can then make everyday life lack fulfilment and enjoyment.
Does this sound like you or someone in your family? Maybe you have noticed your child or teenager is struggling with their emotions, is lacking in motivation or you have noticed a difference in their normal behaviour and you are not sure how best to support them.
Sometimes speaking with someone who isn't a family member or friend can help. I provide a comfortable, non judgemental space where you can talk about areas in your life you wish to explore and understand better, this can lead to positive changes which in turn can impact on your emotional well being.
I am a member of the BACP and work within the ethical framework, this includes regular supervision. I also attend reflective practice for the various agencies I work within, this promotes my professional practice as well as continued learning and training.
I have Public Liability insurance and an up to date CRB.

I charge £40 for a full hour session. Children may not be able to engage in a full hour of therapy so time can be tailored to suit each individual.
Concessions are available under certain circumstance and this can be discussed together.
Having made contact via phone or email we can arrange for an initial assessment, this is an informal meeting to establish if counselling is something you wish to begin and if I'm the right person to take the journey with you. The assessment will cost £25.
