Sam Flax, MSc. Counselling & Psychotherapy, Dip. Couns, Reg. BACP
53 Cleveland Sq
I offer both short-term and long-term psychotherapy and counselling to individuals who are seeking a confidential and safe space to explore whatever is troubling them.
Like most therapists, I feel the relationship between therapist and client is the most important factor in determining progress in the therapy. I therefore suggest that during the first session we can see how it feels to work together - there is no obligation.
I have extensive experience working with various issues including anxiety, depression, and difficulties in relationships with others.
If you are reading this perhaps you recognise the importance of having a safe place to talk and you are ready to start, or to continue your therapeutic journey. My practice is informed by psychoanalysis starting with Freud, the person-centred approach through the work of Carl Rogers, and by continental philosophical thinkers such as Emmanuel Levinas.
