Sam Flax, MSc. Counselling & Psychotherapy, Dip. Couns, Reg. BACP
53 Cleveland Sq
For individuals who are seeking a confidential space to share and gain clarity around whatever is troubling them, I offer both short-term and long-term psychotherapy and counselling in West London.
Like most therapists, I feel the relationship between therapist and client is the most important factor in determining progress in the therapy. As therapy is a collabrative process, I suggest that during the first session we discuss what you are looking for and how I may be able to help.
I have extensive experience working with various issues including anxiety, depression, and difficulties in relationships with others.
Prior to starting my private practice I provided therapy in several charities, organisations, and secondary schools across London. These charities and organisations include Westminster Drug Project and Faces in Focus.
If you are reading this perhaps you recognise the importance of having a safe place to talk and you are ready to start, or to continue your therapeutic journey. My practice is informed by psychoanalysis starting with Freud, the person-centred approach through the work of Carl Rogers, and by continental philosophical thinkers such as Emmanuel Levinas.
