About me

In our sessions we will build a strong, non-judgemental, therapeutic relationship based on trust and acceptance, where we can work together to explore the issues that led you to seek counselling.

Together we will focus on your present situation, also looking at your past, when appropriate, to help us identify barriers that are preventing you from moving forward. Throughout the process you will gain self awareness and be able to explore new ways of thinking and coping strategies; our work together will provide a safe space to simply discuss issues, or to set goals for what you hope to achieve from counselling, even when this might seem unclear.

I provide both brief and longer term counselling for adults, young adults, and teens from my convenient practice in Surbiton. I work with a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship issues, self-harm, anger, eating disorders, grief and bereavement.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an experienced fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist. I also have a nursing background. I am registered with the BACP and I hold a BA Honours Degree (first) in Integrative - Relational counselling  from Middlesex University. As well as my private practice I work in a GP surgery and as a counsellor within the Wellbeing department at a London University. I hold full professional insurance.
