About me

I am a Human Givens Practitioner, Psychotherapist and Counsellor.  I offer brief, solution focused therapy designed around your personality and your needs.  When you come to see me I will listen to your difficulties and your personal journey.  You may be coming to see me because of low mood, stress, anxiety, trauma, depression, addiction, self harm, OCD, relationship problems and more. I will do all I can to help you.  Together we can discover how to lift your mood quickly and after the first session you should feel hopeful of recovery.  I have techniques to help you calm down when you experience feelings of stress or any type of anxiety using 7/11 breathing which is quick, safe and highly effective.

I can help with even severe trauma. You do not have to share all the painful details with me.  Using a tried and tested method called 'The Rewind Technique' I can help with a wide range of emotional issues to finally give you peace of mind.  You may be wanting to break a habit.  If you are definitely ready and it is YOUR decision then together we will find the best tools to break the addiction.  Most treatments last around four sessions and of course if more are needed then that is acceptable.

Human Givens uses the best of CBT, NLP, Talking therapies and Person Centred therapy and has gained professional recognition in many areas including the NHS.  I abide by the ethics of The Government Department for Health and Social Care , The Professional Standards Authority.  I have DBS clearance, am fully insured and supervised. I also have full membership of the Human Givens Institute and follow their strict conduct of rules and regulations.
