About me
I offer a caring and non-judgemental counselling service for adults and young people.When you walk in to my Therapy room for the first time I am very aware of how anxious and nervous you may feel and what a huge step that this may be for you. You will receive a warm and friendly welcome and i will aim to make you feel comfortable, safe, and secure.
I will be more than happy to answer any questions that you may have and provide you with any further information that you may need. The final judge of whether a counsellor is right for you can only be yourself and you must trust your own instincts.
My role is to listen and support you in exploring the issues that may be blocking your path towards a happier life and future.
Saying what's on your mind isn't easy, talking about painful and difficult feelings can be hard. I provide a peaceful, and confidential space where you will be listened to and truly heard in a relaxed therapeutic environment. I understand that asking for help can feel difficult. I am an experienced qualified psychotherapist and counsellor who can support you at a a time when you feel overwhelmed, upset or anxious. I hold Diplomas in
Advance Psychotherapeutic Counselling
Hypnotherapy
Discovering and Changing Limited Beliefs.
I am also a Kinetic Shift practitioner
I have also undergone further training in Inner Child Therapy, and Mind and body connection for stress and trauma.
I am fully qualified in Person Centred Therapy, Psychoanalytical Therapy, C.B.T (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and Hypnotherapy.
I hold an NVQ level 3 in childcare, Safeguarding Children level 2 and hold a DBS certificate.
As a Registered Member of The National Counselling Society and The National Hypnotherapy Society, I abide by their strict Code of Ethics.
I aim to offer the best possible service to my clients, so regularly attend Continuing Professional Development courses to further my knowledge and understanding.
