About me

Firstly, I'd like to say well done for taking the big step in asking for help. This can be daunting and take a lot of courage.

The need for mental well-being has never been more important. The pandemic has and is creating devastating impacts and for some of us, that's putting a huge strain on our ability to manage issues past and present. That strain can feel unbearable - at times like this, help and support to re-discover balance and well-being can be just what's needed.

I am an integrative psychotherapist which means my approach incorporates looking at how the past influences our present feelings and behaviours whilst also working on a cognitive level to explore practical ways of dealing with anxiety and depression.

I can help you understand the issues you are facing and their meaning, helping you to develop the skills and habits to overcome them, shaping your perspective into a healthy and positive one.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
