About me

The reason you have arrived here, looking for a therapist, may feel clear, or maybe not. Maybe you are experiencing a chapter in your life that feels difficult to make sense of or an event you can't process. Maybe you are looking to have more energy, better boundaries, more joy, more hope, more choice. You may have worries about your work, parenting, relationships, your levels of self-esteem. Maybe you simply feel you are not living all the way into the corners of yourself.

Whatever the reason may be, you are arriving in this space with a hope of something. I offer you a secure, empathic, non-judgemental space where you’ll be supported to explore that; to release, untangle, and process any thoughts, feelings or behaviours and, together, make more sense of them. With deep compassion, alongside gentle challenge, I will invite you to reflect on what has happened in the past, be more conscious of what is ahead, whilst also taking stock of what is happening in the present. You’ll be supported to explore and understand yourself on a deeper level and to fully explore the impact your experiences have had on you, the way you feel and the stories you might tell yourself.

By fostering a therapeutic alliance built on trust, empathy, and collaboration, I empower my clients to tap into their own inner resources and cultivate resilience in the face of life’s challenges. Together, we’ll embark on a journey of self-discovery to uncover your unique strengths and create positive change.

As I am trained in using a range of therapeutic approaches, I am able to tailor my approach based on your individual needs and goals. I work extensively with attachment styles, origin stories, core self-beliefs, narrative therapy and inner child work. Together we will find a way that works best for you.

I invite you to reach out and schedule a free 30-minute initial online session, where we will meet equally unknown to each other, ready to explore the very first question: 'what brings you here today?'. I look forward to exploring your story alongside you, and what it is you are hoping for, as you take this step.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
