Sabrina Williams (MBACP) BACP Registered
Thank you for viewing my profile, however at this time, I am fully booked. You can however be added to the waiting list for future sessions.
Life can be challenging!
Sometimes we just need someone to talk to….Someone to listen......
Someone, to help us to make sense of what has happened or is happening in our lives now and most importantly how we can move forward…
Maybe that person can be me.
Hi, I am Sabrina, a Counsellor and psychotherapist, a registered member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).
Traditionally, 'Counselling/Therapy' is talking; but some find it easier and more enjoyable to work in a creative way when words can be difficult, creative exercise can facilitate expression.
So the choice is yours, we can talk, work creatively or both.
I offer session currently via zoom, skype, what's app and the telephone.
It doesn't matter what you’re going through, big or small ….You are, welcome to bring it to our Counselling sessions.
What can I get out of counselling/Therapy?
Sessions are for you to use how you like. However, others have said they come in order to:
- Make sense of things that I can not make sense of alone.
- Have someone hear me and not tell me what I should or should not be doing or thinking.
- Say things out loud that I have never said to anyone else.
- say things that are highly confidential and that those close to me would be angry, distressed or disappointed to hear.
- Have space to think about who I am, who I want to be and what I really want from life.
- Manage my emotions/ feelings about people, relationships or circumstances.
The list is not exhaustive, Many people may also come to counselling, simply to learn more about themselves and to develop/maximise their potential.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
