About me

Hi,

An experienced female counsellor, I have resumed working face-to-face counselling. The option to work online is still available.

If you are struggling with anxiety, depression or stress, I would like to help you find your own unique way of overcoming these emotional difficulties , and offer you the space to explore how it's really like for you at the moment. My wish is that you come to create the life and relationships that you yearn for, including a positive relationship with yourself.

Trained as a person-centred counsellor , I have 15 years experience supporting individuals with their wellbeing and mental health in various settings.

I am passionate about supporting women while they continually transition through life; from puberty to menopause and beyond.

I am also experienced working with issues at the root of drug and alcohol addiction. If you feel that the party is over and that the consequences have outweighed the benefits then I would like you to know that it is possible to take a new direction.

I work well with other forms of self-sabotage (unhealthy romantic relationships, relationship with food, procrastination, harsh inner-critic...).

The way I work is gentle, non-judgmental and I will be here to support you throughout the entire process.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. If I am not available to take your call, email me or send a text indicating the best times to call you back.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Sabrina

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
