About me
Hi, I'm Sabina. As an experienced psychotherapist, I offer a safe and judgment-free space to explore your thoughts, feelings and challenges. Whether you're coping with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties or bereavement, I’m here to listen and actively work alongside you with a warm and empathetic approach. Together, we’ll explore new perspectives and build the tools you need to thrive, not just survive.
I tailor my approach based on your own individual therapeutic needs. My therapeutic approach is grounded in a psychodynamic framework, which is a perspective that focuses on the unconscious mind and is based on the idea that our past experiences and relationships shape our present feelings. I also incorporate elements of cognitive behavioural therapy and person-centred approaches where necessary. My aim is to empower you to develop the tools you need to manage your symptoms, build resilience and help you to lead a fulfilling life.
I understand that seeking therapy can be a difficult decision. I offer a free 15 minute consultation, where we can discuss what has brought you to therapy and I can answer any questions you may have. Following this, if you wish to proceed with therapy, we will arrange to meet for an initial 50 minute session for which the standard fee will be charged.
You don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. Schedule your free consultation today. Let’s start your journey to healing, one conversation at a time.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an experienced and qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist based in North London, and a Registered Member of the BACP. My qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Therapy (BACP Accredited), a Certificate in Counselling Skills and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Warwick.
Since qualifying, I have therapeutically supported individuals with a range of issues across the private, public and voluntary sectors, as well as facilitating group work. I have worked at Highgate Counselling Centre - the longest serving counselling service in the UK. I have worked and continue to work extensively with young adults in Further and Higher Education at Barnet & Southgate College and the University of Hertfordshire. I provide specialist individual therapy for women and girls who have experienced gender-based violence with East London Rape Crisis. I have also worked as a listening volunteer with Samaritans providing emotional support to people of all ages, and a volunteer therapist at the Lewisham Refugee & Migrant Network.
In addition to my work as a therapist, I am committed to staying up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field. I regularly attend conferences and workshops and participate in ongoing professional training to ensure that I am providing the highest quality care to my clients.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
