Counselling and Psychotherapy addresses issues such as repeated or recurring drug/alcohol use (or any behaviour that is linked into your addiction), anxiety/stress/depression, acting out on your duel diagnose or anger/relationship difficulties.
Talking to someone approachable, open, and non-judgmental can be the first step towards positive change.
My name is Lisa Kraut and I have experienced life at extremes and have worked closely with people from many different walks of life.
I am a trained psychotherapist with lots of experience of addiction and working with people with Borderline Personality disorders (also known as emotionally unstable personality disorder) as well as all other types of issues.
One of my specialities is working with people still drinking in a manner that is causing them consequences. I help them to achieve stability in their drinking, reduce at a safe pace and move towards their goal of either abstinence or controlled drinking.
My fees are between £60 - £90 per hour based on your particular requirement.
I am happy to tailer a plan to fit in with your needs and I can do some telephone sessions, Skype and home appointments are available if this is something we think you would beneift from.
I am also involved in the area of Sober Coaching and Companioning. My fees are to be determined as to the level of couching required. Some of the services may be meeting to talk about recovery, taking people to mutual Aid meetings and helping them re- adjust to living clean and sober. Please contact me to talk about an individual care plan tailored just for you.
I am currently available for counselling sessions on
Monday to Friday 10am - 9pm
Saturday 11am - 6pm
Please enquire about Sober Coaching/companioning and Borderline Personality Disorder sessions as these times are as required.
Looking forward to talking to you,

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Borderline Personality Disorder work
I work from a person centred framework drawing from the STEPPS Program whatever skills are helpful for each client I work with.
Using a number of tools we can work towards stabilising your drinking and work towards abstinence.
In all addictions there is a physical, spiritual and mental mismatch and together we can work in a way that we an incorporate changes of life styles, new behaviours and breaking the habitual nature of addictions. We can then work on relapse prevention techniques and help you to achieve and maintain abstinence.
Counselling is £60 - £70 per 50 minute session. (Dependant on what your requirement is).
I also offer reduced fees for counsellors in training. Please contact me.
I am available Monday - Friday (am and pm) to and Saturday until 6pm.
Please enquire about sober coaching / companioning. These times will vary.
Monday to Friday 10am - 8pm
Saturday 11am - 6pm
I work from a relational reparative basis using both Humanistic and Psychodynamic theory. I incorporate CBT into my work and I am also able to work with clients to reduce and stop (if this is their goal) their using of both addictive and non-addictive substances.
I am also trained in CBT and Mindfulness and use what the STEPPS Program offers us for Borderline Personality clients. (Working directively and theraputically to structure your treatment plan to your individual need)
