Kind Minds: Empowering Your Journey Through Compassionate Therapy

At Kind Minds, I provide a safe, supportive space for you to explore and find your own answers. My lived experience in mental health and professional qualifications as a person-centred counsellor, registered with the BACP, underpin my commitment to helping you grow.

Welcome to Kind Minds

At Kind Minds, I understand that the journey to mental well-being is deeply personal and unique to everyone. With my own lived experience in mental health, I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings.

About Me

I am a qualified person-centred counsellor registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My approach is rooted in building a relationship of trust and understanding, allowing you to feel safe and supported as you navigate life's challenges. Additionally, I am trained in motivational interviewing, a technique that can help you find the motivation to make positive changes in your life.

Our Approach

Person-Centred Therapy: This approach focuses on creating a therapeutic environment that is empathic, accepting, and genuine. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to support you in uncovering your own solutions and paths forward.
Motivational Interviewing: Research shows that motivational interviewing can be highly effective in helping individuals who are contemplating change. This collaborative approach can help you resolve ambivalence and build motivation for change, making it a powerful tool in our work together. Mindfulness-based self-help.

Our Work Together

Therapy is a journey, and at Kind Minds, I am here to walk alongside you. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma or any other mental health challenge, we will work together to explore your feelings and experiences. Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
