Ryan Vigor-Justin FdA MBACP @ Clarity Therapy
Clarity Well-Being Clinic
15b Coventry Street
Hello, my name’s Ryan. Just a second to say, ‘thanks’ for taking the time to read my profile. I hope it helps. If you have any questions please get in touch...
How can you help me?
I know what it’s like to try to control the outer world through endless schedules and to-do lists, to power through, to live on auto-pilot. We learn as we get older. The experiences we go through can determine how we appear to everyone outside. However your past doesn't have to determine your future.
In my practice, I specialise in providing therapy to male and female clients including young adults and couples. Whilst I specialise in supporting clients with substance misuse, anxiety and depression, bereavement and loss and difficulties surrounding gender and sexuality, I also help with a wide variety of difficulties. Everything from, terminal illness, low self-esteem, loneliness and isolation and everything in between.
I am committed to helping my clients stop suffering in silence and not only learn how to navigate the complexities of everyday life but find ways to thrive in their experience rather than just survive it.
I want to help you feel less alone. You deserve to discover your strength and your happiness. It is possible to be fulfilled in your relationships. Together, we will increase your confidence in your ability to successfully manage your life, your relationships and yourself.
And whatever your age, gender, sexual identity or background, it’s my promise that you will always feel welcome here.
Why did you become a therapist?
Ever since I was a child, people have been sharing their stories. I believe that everyone deserves to feel loved, accepted, content, confident, and fulfilled not only in their relationship with others but also with themselves. And that everyone, no matter their life circumstances, can heal and grow.
Most of all, I believe that everyone has the ability to not just survive in life, but to thrive.
Why did you choose to specialise in these areas?
My own experiences and struggles have deeply impacted me personally and as a therapist. I have a deep and intimate understanding of the emotions and challenges associated with addiction, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and also with sexuality and identity. I also know that struggling with these issues can be an isolating experience. It is important that anyone going through these difficulties has the support needed and I am dedicated to providing this in my practice.
Training, qualifications & experience
What is your experience?
For years I have worked with male and female clients, including adolescents, young adults and couples in a wide range of settings, including: community mental health charities, local cancer charities, private rehab centres and local children's services. I also work alongside Judith Sullivan and Associates in Leicestershire and Clarity Well-Being Clinic, North Warwickshire. Every one of these experiences has shaped me into the therapist I am today. In addition, my personal experiences have deeply impacted the insight I am able to bring to my work and my clients.
As a result, I understand what it feels like to have to overcome really hard things. I know what it feels like to have to manage difficult relationships, deal with loss, navigate major life transitions and cope with the overwhelming sensation of day to day stress. And I can relate to the pain and frustration that comes with addiction, loss and sexuality or identity issues. It is hard to do these things alone.
What can I expect?
You can always expect a quiet, comfortable, safe and relaxed environment here with ‘cozy’ lighting and comfy chairs and sofas. You can also expect a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Everything you need to feel relaxed.
If this is your first time seeking therapy and are worried about what to expect, let me reassure you - this is a safe, conformable, confidential space that is far from clinical, and more about you feeling heard and accepted for who you are. I'm not a therapist that sits behind a clipboard. I'm often told that I'm easy to talk to.
Where can I find you?
Currently you can find me in two clinics. The first is located in Nuneaton, North Warwickshire and the second is in Hinckley, Leicestershire.

What other clients have had to say:
"Ryan was absolutely fantastic. Can't speak highly enough of him. He helped me through what was a tough time and always knew what to say and how to help. Very conscientious and inviting."
"The sessions that I have had over 8 months have been so valuable to me and Ryan has really helped me to tackle my anxiety with work and day to day events. His warm and friendly nature was what I needed and I never felt judged with anything that was discussed which was really important for me. I would recommend anyone having difficulties to contact Ryan for support/help."
"No words could ever thank you for all your support over the past year"
"I always felt safe and secure in Ryan's presence. Ryan is very skilled in his area of expertise, he truly helped me to identify and deal with my issues. With Ryan's caring and genuine support this has helped me to move forward. I would not hesitate to go back to Ryan should the need arise. I would recommend to anyone that may feel any sense of apprehension in seeking Ryan's assistance, that they take advantage of his telephone consultation as a first step. Thank You!"
"I've gone from drinking every night to being sober for 93 days. Thank you Ryan"
"It's great to feel heard and understood"
"I put off counselling for such a long time. I knew I needed it but it seemed really scary. A friend had gone through counselling with Ryan and highly recommended him. For months I did nothing about it but one day I picked up the phone and looking back I should have done it months ago! For the first time in a very long time I actually felt heard"
"Initially I felt embarrassed about even needing therapy but Ryan changed all that. In fact I would go as far as to say I look forward to my sessions every week because it gives me the chance talk freely and know I'm being listened to. I leave therapy after a few months leaving stronger and more confident."
