About me

I am an experienced and qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist. I work privately and confidentially with adults and young adults, and I am based near London Bridge. I believe that having a safe, non-judgemental space to explore who we are and how we experience the world around us, can give us the confidence to change and live the life we feel we

I can offer you support through either short-term counselling for six weeks, or longer term counselling which is open ended.

How may counselling help

There are many reasons that lead people to consider counselling. You may have a idea of why you are seeking help, or you may not know why you are feeling the way you do, and feel that you need someone to talk to. Regardless of your reasons for seeking support, I believe that everyone should feel valued, and have the opportunity to openly share their thoughts and feelings free of prejudice, or discrimination. I can offer you this, and give you the time to reflect and explore in greater depth what you are currently experiencing and help to give your life a new direction.

My counselling approach

As a psychotherapist, the counselling approach that I follow is driven by the experiences we have had in early life, influence how we see ourselves and behave in the present. Counselling explores the link between your past and present, enabling you to identify thoughts and behaviours that have shaped how you see yourself, and the world around you. By working with you, I will support you on your counselling journey, enabling you to regain control of your life. I understand that counselling can be a difficult and challenging process, and I want you to be reassured that work will be led by what you feel comfortable to share.

I offer an initial consultation to meet with you, and discuss if you would find my counselling approach beneficial to you. This is also an opportunity for you to raise any questions you may have about the process, and to finalise a counselling arrangement to suit you.

Attending an initial consultation does not mean that you are obligated to attend further sessions with me.
