**DUE TO VERY HIGH DEMAND, MY WAITING LIST IS CURRENTLY CLOSED - DO GET IN TOUCH TO BE ALERTED WHEN IT REOPENS**
Tired of struggling with your relationship with food? Are you looking to have a nourishing and content relationship with your body? I'm Ruth, and I work with clients looking to find freedom from Disordered Eating patterns.
'Recovery' can often feel like a clinical label - instead, let's talk about your goal and the words that feel right for you! With a specialism in Eating Disorder therapy, I work with issues ranging from Body Confidence, Bulimia, Binge Eating, Body Dysmorphia, Emotional Overeating, Restrictive Eating, Muscle Dysmorphia, Obesity, Over-Exercise, Yo-Yo Dieting, as well as challenges which cannot be identified with a standardised 'label'.
I've been grateful in my 10 years in the industry to work with clients bringing with them a wide range of experiences and traumas which have resulted in Disordered Eating. From research, we know that Disordered Eating is a way of coping with life experiences we have found challenging or impossible to cope with. That's where I step in.
Together we will work collaboratively towards a 'goal' or 'goals' of your choosing, ensuring that the space remains safe and compassionate for you as we begin our work together. In the room, you have autonomy over your goals, and choice in the work we undertake together - you see me as often as you would feel helpful, and you only ever share what you feel comfortable with.
Ready to take the next step? Simply send me an email, and we'll set up an initial appointment together. I'm truly looking forward to connecting with you.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
