About me

Hello and welcome! I am a qualified and fully accredited psychotherapist, working from offices in Central London (near Bond Street tube) and WimbIedon. (Although due to covid, currently I work on Zoom.) I work with clients facing a range of difficult issues in their lives. This is usually long-term work, but can also be short-term depending on needs. For me, the journey of psychotherapy is about deeper self-knowledge so that you gain the confidence to reveal more of your authentic self in the outside world. It is a fascinating (though at times painful) journey to find your feelings, voice, strength and qualities.

One of the many positive goals of depth psychotherapy is to discover hidden aspects of yourself, qualities which may have been buried and forgotten, or distorted as a result of set-backs or wounds. I work to help my clients find greater authenticity and wholeness.  I use a humanistic, integrative and transpersonal approach. I work creatively, sometimes with play, art, imagination and dreams.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am registered and accredited as a psychotherapist with the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy). I trained at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE) in London from 2011-2014. The four year postgraduate diploma programme is accredited by the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).  In 2020 I completed an Advanced Diploma in Transpersonal Psychotherapy allowing me to deepen my work in the spiritual perspective of psychotherapy.

My experience includes working at Kingston Women's Centre.  I also worked at Living Well, offering psychotherapy to people with HIV.  During my training I undertook a psychiatric observational placement at The Maudsley Hospital, which gave me an insight into the mental health system, and have completed training in DSM-5 disorders. I am particularly interested in relationship problems and facilitate a weekend course entitled: "Blueprints to Relationship". Who we are is one side of the coin, how we relate to one another is the other side of the coin.

Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked in marketing, media and PR. In France I worked in an international business school, and in London for a global executive search firm, as well as working for international news organisations. I spent seven years living in Indianapolis, USA. With my background in business, as well as juggling the needs of family life, I bring an understanding of what it is like to try to balance two such different worlds.
