About me

During these uncertain times of this Covid19 epidemic counselling can be a great support. To ensure that you can get the support you need right now I am working remotely via telephone and online video while we are in lock down, get in touch to find out more.

I am an integrative counsellor with over 3000 hours of clinical experience and am a Senior Accredited member of the National Counselling Society.

I have extensive experience working with anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties and historical abuse.

I will provide a safe and confidential space for you to explore things in your life that may be causing distress or confusion be that something specific like bereavement, anxiety or relationship issues, to that sense that things aren't quite right and a lack of fulfilment in your everyday life.

I am passionate about my clients working towards becoming the best version of themselves. This often means an exploration of past events, present experiences and future hopes. Finding your own personal awareness, compassion and understanding of self can aid you in achieving the best version of yourself. Counselling can help you to make sense of your problems and gain a better understanding of yourself and help you find ways to better cope with life's ups and downs.

As an integrative counsellor; I use a variety of counselling approaches to suit the needs of the individual. The main theoretical approaches that I use in my work are; Person Centred, Psychodynamic, Solution Focused, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness. I will work with you in a way that is supportive, warm and non-judgmental, to guide you through any distress you may be experiencing and I aim to empower you to deal with any difficulties, whatever they may be. I am also an NLP practitioner and offer Life coaching.

I offer Life coaching for anyone who may not feel the need of counselling but may require some guidance and assistance if they feel stagnant and stuck in any aspect of their lives, either personal or professional or even both.
