About us

What We Offer:
We work with children, young people, adults, couples and families

We are here to help you navigate your way through the many different chapters of your life.  Offering support as you explore any challenges with our tailored therapy to meet your specific needs.

Individual Therapy: We offer you support as you explore & cross challenges, that may be a result of life becoming turbulent, problematic and perhaps painful.  Some of the specialisms we help with are (but not limited to):
ADHD /ADD, Autism, Anxiety, panic attacks, low self esteem, depression, suicide & suicide ideation, trauma, including rape and sexual abuse, bereavement: grief and loss, stress, addiction, sex issues, eating disorders.

School Liaison Service: We collaborate directly with school communities: teachers, students, pastoral teams, parents, and senior leadership teams (SLTs) to offer specialised mental health support. Our goal is to identify mental health needs early on, reducing the number of young people in crisis and minimising the impact on their lives, studies, academic performance, and future prospects.

Assessment Package: (An Alternative To Therapy) If you need some guidance without committing to a full therapy journey, our assessment package could be ideal. This package includes a 90-minute in-person appointment. During this session, the we will get to know you or your child's situation, challenges, and therapy goals.  As part of this appointment we will also offer you: Individualised recommendations, strategies and techniques to implement at home.  Individualised resources and handouts to provide psycho-education and information about the difficulties you have sought help for.

Couples Therapy: We offer support as you explore the challenges within your relationship. There are many issues that can affect a relationship, such as (but not limited to): arguing & poor communication, affairs, commitment, starting a family, mental health issues.  Communication barriers surrounding neurodiversity within the relationship, ethical non-monogamy relationships, (not limited to polygamy) withdrawal, affairs, betrayal, sex and Intimacy, separation and when divorce seems the only option.

The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
