About me
Hi, I'm Rowan. I'm a Clinical Psychologist and trained EMDR therapist, offering a safe space to explore what might help you. I have over 10 years of experience and I use evidence-based approaches to help support whatever your goals might be. Together, we’ll tailor the work to suit your needs - whether that means building coping tools, processing past experiences, or simply creating space to understand yourself.
Whether you're dealing with a specific issue - like anxiety, depression, grief or loss, burnout, or relationship difficulties - or simply want to feel more grounded and in control, therapy can help you find clarity, relief, and new ways forward. I work with people with a wide range of difficulties, such as the impact of neurodiversity, health conditions, and stress.
Starting therapy can feel daunting, especially when you’re already feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of what you need. Whatever you're carrying, you're not alone - and it’s okay to ask for help.
I offer a sliding scale for fees and welcome you to get in touch for a free initial consultation. Whether you have a specific goal in mind to work on if you want to explore your experiences, this is a chance to talk through what you're looking for and see if we’re a good fit.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified Clinical Psychologist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). My training spans a range of evidence-based therapies, which I integrate to support a deeper understanding of your emotions and experiences. This approach helps us explore new ways of coping and work through past or present challenges. The therapies I draw from include EMDR, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
