About me

Hello, I'm Ross, an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. I provide a compassionate and supportive space to help you navigate and process life’s challenges. Together, we will explore patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that may be holding you back, using evidence-based tools and strategies for lasting change. My approach integrates compassion-led techniques that foster resilience, empowering you to face difficult emotions and situations with clarity.

CBT is time-limited and tailored to your pace, ensuring you feel fully supported throughout. Together, we will set goals and work to develop the tools and insights to continue your recovery after our sessions together.

Training, qualifications & experience

As a BABCP-accredited therapist, I am committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care, with a strong focus on sustainable, positive change. I am also a musician, mindfulness practitioner and trained meditation instructor, with a personal interest in the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model.

Qualifications include; an MSc in Psychological Studies (University of Glasgow), an MA in Performance (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland), a Postgraduate Certificate in Counselling Skills (Abertay University), a Diploma in Meditation Instruction from the British School of Meditation and a Postgraduate Diploma (Level 2 Hi-Intensity training) in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (UWS).
