About me

I am a counsellor currently residing in Stirling, Scotland. I am currently working via Zoom video call, which means I am available to work with individuals both within Stirling and elsewhere in the United Kingdom. I am a person-centred counsellor, which means I will aim to sit alongside you to discuss your life, the difficulties you may be facing, and work together to figure out what steps you would like to take.

I have experience working therapeutically with adults, children and young people in the NHS, education settings and in private practice. Before qualifying as a counsellor I worked as a support worker in several different roles supporting individual's mental health difficulties. I have also previously worked with members of the LGBTQ+ community.

I have experience of working with feelings of anxiety, depression and low mood, loss and traumatic experiences. We will work together to go at your pace to explore the thoughts, feelings and circumstances that bring you to counselling.

Counselling can be a valuable space to get to know yourself, and how you respond to the world and those around you. I have been a client in therapy myself and understand that it can be daunting to initially reach out for support. Therapy for me allowed me to discover so much more about my self, my feelings and my relationships.

It is important to me that you find the right counsellor for you. If you have any questions before booking in for an initial session please feel free to contact me via email, phone or text and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

To view my availability and book an initial counselling session to explore how I can be of help please visit my website. Each counselling session costs £40 which I ask is paid for at the time of booking.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
