About me

Hi, my name is Roslyn, and I’m a qualified and experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapist working via video call and telephone. I have experience in working with people of all ages; from children to older adults with a range of presenting issues.

Counselling can provide an opportunity for you to think and talk in confidence about personal or emotional difficulties that are worrying you. It is a time and space for you to open up, examine, reflect and begin to understand the root of your troubles. It will offer you a space to explore them, build your resilience and develop different ways of dealing with them.

At the heart of counselling, is the relationship between you and your Counsellor. So, it is important that you find someone with whom you like and trust. I hope that the information found here will help you decide if I’m the right therapist for you.

I am currently offering therapy by Zoom or Telephone only. I have been described by my clients as warm and professional in my approach.

Thank you for your interest and I hope to hear from you soon.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have post graduate qualifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness Studies. I have experience working in various settings with a wide range of people and presenting mental health issues.

I have significant experience in working with young people in relation to anxiety, social anxiety, panic, OCD, low mood, peer and family challenges and self-harming.

I work with adults with a range of mental health problems and life change, loss and challenges.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
