In this challenging time, does it lead you to consider you want more in your life? Or is this a time you are keen to make sure you manage in this difficult time.
I have trained in working online and have many years of working with people remotely. It might be that you would like some short term counselling to look at ways to manage the many changes that are occurring across society.
It could be you need a space to be heard? If you are in a relationship do you need to hear each other in a place that is neutral? Maybe this is a time to think what makes you upset, feel unheard or to find out why it’s difficult for others to hear you?
Counselling can be a useful place to find out what is bothering us. I have extensive experience of working with individuals and those in relationships (having been a Relate Therapist for 10 years). I work with individuals, families, and couples. I have worked with clients from the NHS via IAPT contracts for 6 years.
Having been a CEO for over 15 years I am aware of the challenges of stress and trained in the management of conflict and stress advising. Having trained as a Qualified Mediator (FMCA), I am mindful of the impact of relationship breakdown, divorce and separation, affairs and betrayals, and general family issues.
If relationships are a challenge, maybe we can become curious about why it’s hard to make a joint decision. Are you struggling with intimacy or self-care? Are we difficult people… like our partner says, or is it difficult to hold down a relationship? I am trained in CBT, qualified & experienced in couple counselling, psychosexual therapy.
I have a passion to see our lives bring about change and find new ways of embracing life. I regularly use Mindfulness and meditation as a part of client work and utilise the importance of acceptance and commitment therapy.
If there is a time that face to face appointments might be an option I work approximately 3 minutes’ walk from Goodmayes Station, which is on the Stratford/Liverpool street TFL line, there is one bus (EL3) from Barking Station, or on a bus route from Gants Hill Station on the central line (150 & 128).
If you would prefer to meet in a park and do 'walk and talk', also contact me about this option.
I am on the Accredited Register of the Professional Standards Authority, Accredited with COSRT and ACC.
