Rosie Ingham - Psychotherapist and EMDR therapist.
I have worked with adults, children, young people and their families as a counsellor and psychotherapist for over 20 years. I believe we all have times in our lives when we struggle to feel happy and satisfied for a whole range of reasons and that with the right support we can find a way to overcome these. I will work with you to help you understand and find your own answers to the problems facing you.
I work with a whole range of presenting issues, including:
- abuse and trauma
- and anything that may be preventing you from enjoying life and reaching your own goals and potential in your life.
I will work with you for as long as it takes, some times this is a few sessions, or months and some people will want long term work for up to a year or more. I will use a range of ways to help you express your feelings and thoughts and find solutions to your problems, from talking to using the arts when words can't seem to quite say what you mean. I also offer EMDR therapy for adults and children, which is a recommended treatment for all sorts of trauma. I offer therapy to individuals, couples and families and so can work with you individually or with your partner or relative(s).
I believe that as well as being well trained as a counsellor/therapist, that respect, warmth and an understanding relationship is at the heart of effective counselling and therapy.
Do phone on 07837381903 or e-mail me (contact form is at the top). If I am not able to answer straight away I will get back to you as soon as I can and at the latest, within 24 hours. The centre that I work in is a 5 minute walk from Coventry train station and there is parking on the road outside.
