About me

you are important,  your call/email is confidential and is the first step in getting started with counselling.

to discuss about making an initial appointment  were we can talk about your needs,  and if are  happy to continue we  will book appointments to work on short, or long -term bases .

I have passed the COP  certification to practice and am a registered memeber  of the BACP, British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy(www.bacp.co.uk) and adhere to their code of professional ethics.

I hold a Diploma in the Theory and Practice of Counselling and am committed to continuing my learning and undertaking ongoing professional and personal development.

Currently I work for Rape Crisis, as well as in my private practice.

Working, as an experienced counsellor  I work with adults of all ages, and couples. By helping you to understand yourself better, counselling can help you discover new choices and pave the way towards a more fulfilled life.

You may wonder whether 'just talking' can change anything. My experience is that it can. In the past, I've found this unique source of support can offer welcome relief during times of stress, as well as offering lasting benefits that go far beyond the actual length of the therapy itself.

Further information

My person -centred approach enables me to communicate my empathic understanding at a deeper level, which is key in helping clients become more self-aware, and self-reliant, staying in your frame of reference whilst reflecting back, and making sure you feel heard and understood, enables you to make steps towards change.

I offer counselling, to people who are feeling low through Anxieties and  depression, which can get overwhelming.

Losing someone and the affects of grief can at times feel as though your never going to get through it. Through therapy I am able to hold you, enabling you to talk about the way you are feeling.

I have experience working with couples through their difficult times, enabling them to move forward through our therapy together.

I understand how much courage it takes to talk about issues in my private practice I provide the space for both women and men in therapeutic therapy. Having found that some people struggle to connect with topics that they want to explore, I have found through personal experience that given time and a safe space can help.
