I offer counselling using the Transactional Analysis modality.
Transactional Analysis provides me with the common platform through which I can understand human experiences, mine included. It has helped me understand why I perceive life the way I do; why I interpret and experience certain situations differently from others around me. It has also provided me with the tools to understand and empathise with those close to me and consequently support them more effectively than I did. As a counsellor, it gives me the tools to empower others to be fully themselves.
I can support you to resolve a range of issues including:
- Relational Difficulties
- Low Self Esteem
- Lack of Confidence
- Difficulties in Making Decisions
- Work Related Stress
Training, qualifications & experience
I completed 3 years training in Transactional Analysis in 2015 and continue to refresh my knowledge through Continuous Professional Development workshops. I am a qualified counsellor with a COSCA Diploma in Transactional Analysis. I have hours of practice experience working as a volunteer before my qualification and subsequently as a private practitioner working with private clients after my qualification.
I am a Registered British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) member. I abide by the BACP and UK Association of Transactional Analysis (UKATA) ethics and Professional Guidelines.

- Affairs and betrayals
- Generalised anxiety disorder

The main principle in Transactional Analysis is that everyone can change and that we are all ok! “I am ok and You are ok”! People are Ok! Yes, regardless of who you are, what you do and what you think, YOU are Special and are a valuable person. This philosophy encourages meeting and accepting people where they are in their lives. I also belief that if we knew better we would do better.
My approach is to provide a non-judgemental space for you the client to explore your thoughts, beliefs and behaviour patterns with a view to developing your emotional intelligence and creating new options and outcomes for yourself.
