About me

I provide therapy that is transformative and extremely practical.

I offer a range of psychological and well-being services tailored to individuals, couples, and families. From comprehensive psychological assessments to therapeutic interventions and life coaching, my commitment lies in empowering you to navigate life's challenges with resilience and confidence.

** Diverse Support for Various Challenges**

I help individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, panic disorders, depression, work/career dissatisfaction, relationship issues, parenting, and end-of-life or grief-related struggles, among others. I have expertise in various treatment models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Family Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and more. This diverse toolkit allows me to tailor interventions to your unique needs. To explore if I'm the right fit to support you, please reach out.

**Specialized Focus: Food, Eating, and Body Image**

I specialize in guiding individuals through challenges related to food, eating, and body image. Rather than conforming to external advice and societal norms, my approach encourages building trust within oneself. I guide clients to relearn how to listen to their bodies, choose nourishing foods, recognize fullness, and practice mindful eating. This approach has successfully led many to achieve freedom from disordered eating and body obsession. Additionally, I've authored "Bite Sized Peace," a book offering valuable insights and practical wisdom on transforming your relationship with food and body acceptance.

**Interactive and Tailored Sessions**

My approach may be a little different to more traditional therapy.  I blend warmth and empathy with an active, hands-on methodology. While ensuring confidentiality and a non-judgmental space, I provide practical tools, techniques, homework tasks, and challenges for implementation during and between sessions, emphasizing accountability. Having dedicated time to exploring Eastern meditative practices, I draw on these to enhance transformational growth.

**Tailored Treatment Models for Every Individual**

I understand that each individual is unique, and as such, I employ various treatment models tailored to your specific needs. My clientele spans across the age spectrum, encompassing children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, all navigating a myriad of difficulties.

**Global Reach through Online Sessions**

I work with clients from around the globe,  and split my time between various locations therefore I exclusively offer online sessions. This allows for flexible and convenient sessions, connecting with individuals wherever they are.

**Featured in Publications and Journals**

I have been featured in numerous acedemic journals and media publications, including: Journal of Clinical Psychology; Clinical Psychology: Science & Practice;  Marie Claire; AOL; welldoing.org; Yahoo Style; talkhealthmedia; omyoga, and more.
