If you feel overwhelmed, stressed or anxious with long-term issues or immediate crisis I am here to help. My hope is to build a trusting relationship and offer a non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable and heard and able to process any difficulties or challenges you may face for as long as you need. I understand it can be difficult to express unspoken thoughts and feelings, but I believe by doing so invites the opportunity for self-healing and personal growth and a better understanding of your experiences and relationships with self and others.
I am a qualified counsellor & psychotherapist, this means I work by responding to my clients’ individual needs by using a blended approach and ideas from both person-centred and psychodynamic theory. I work with the here and now and past experiences. I have worked in private practice and the NHS. I have additional training in online and phone counselling.
I believe it is fundamental to find the right therapist for you, so you feel comfortable, heard, understood and have a non-judgmental space to talk openly. I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation which gives you the opportunity to discuss any questions you may have and see if I may be the right therapist for you.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
