I am an experienced, BACP accredited counsellor offering a humanistic/integrative approach. I can provide counselling for individuals, couples, groups, young people (13-18) and organisations. I believe that counselling within an environment that is non-judgemental, caring, confidential, nurturing and safe a person can attain natural positive growth. I adhere strictly to the BACP professional code of ethics within my practice and I am covered by professional indemnity insurance. My clients are either self referred, referred by their employers (either directly or via Employer Assistance Providers), GP practices or psychiatrists.
I also offer supervision to other counsellors privately and within organisations, student counsellors and psychologists. I describe my supervision as humanistic and integrative but I welcome supervisees with different therapeutic perspectives than my own. I am committed, energetic and enthusiastic about my work. I believe that nurturing openness and honesty in supervision helps the supervisee learn, develop and grow. Supervision of supervision is undertaken in accordance with the BACP code of ethics. I have now obtained Supervision accreditation with The National Counselling Society.
