About me

Sometimes it can be hard to know what you want to do in life, or perhaps you do know but just don’t feel confident enough to get there. Maybe you’re at the end of university or perhaps fed up with your job and looking for something new.

I am here to provide a confidential space where you can express your thoughts and feelings. We can explore ideas that you may have found difficult to share with others, perhaps due to fear of being judged or shut down. Often this can help bring a sense of clarity and help to understand yourself better.

Currently I offer online 1:1 (or telephone) therapy within the UK. If you are interested I can provide a free 15minute video chat to discuss the way I work and see if it suits you. Feel free to email me for more information.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a registered member of the BACP and have the following qualifications:

  • Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling TC-L4 (CPCAB)
  • Certificate in Counselling Studies (CPCAB)
  • Certificate in Counselling Skills (CPCAB)

Previous experience:

I have worked with university students (Arts University Bournemouth), survivors of abuse (YellowDoor) and those recovering from addiction (WeAreWithYou)

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
