Robert Cunliffe BA (Hons) MBACP
My name is Robert Cunliffe and I am a qualified counsellor, registered with the BACP, with six years and 600+ hours counselling experience. I am also someone with many very varied life experiences, including being a university lecturer, a prison teacher, a writer and the father and carer of a child with autism and severe learning difficulties.
I firmly believe in the benefits of counselling and the positive impacts it can have on people's lives. I also believe counselling should be more accessible, provided at rates which are more affordable. That is why I offer counselling at a flat rate of £30 per hour (£25 per hour for students, carers and people receiving benefits). More people should be able to access therapy to alleviate distress and turn their lives around.
My particular areas of expertise are addictions, anger, loss and bereavement, PTSD, anxiety, depression, long-term and enduring mental health issues, living with disability and problems associated with being a full-time carer.
