About me

I provide a counselling and psychological therapy service in Bristol, I have a long experience in working in this or similar fields, my training has extended over a 6 year period. Hence I have a depth and width of experience in diverse areas of mental health. I can list lots of situations in which I have worked, however I think this can become a bit meaningless, suffice it say I always endeavour meet my clients where they are and work from that point.

I believe my role is to empower my clients to eventually become their own therapist, hence I am of the mind to share knowledge and information to enable clients to move on in their lives as soon as possible. One of my strongly held values is about the client - therapist relationship being as good as it can be hence I always offer new clients the first meeting free of charge.

I now offer Supervision, prices are the same as my therapy fees

I am a Registered Member of The British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapist

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
