About me
I am a fully qualified counsellor who specialises in career coaching and mentoring. I offer a warm, empathic and supportive space to help you explore your current concerns.
Having had a successful career working for blue chip corporates for nearly 40 years I have the experience, matched with the passion, to support you with the matters that are important to you in and out of the work environment, and to work with you to structure your way forward.
I specialise in helping individuals find their way through the pressures within the hierarchy and team structures of a commercial environment with the aim of reaching their full potential.
Training, qualifications & experience
BACP Registered member.
Holder of an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Humanistic Counselling from Guildford College.
Currently training at the British School of Coaching (BSC) for a level 5 foundation degree in Coaching and Mentoring.
Many years of experience managing large teams supporting the delivery of corporate change. I am acknowledged as an accomplished leader and developer of individuals and teams.
Experience of counselling staff in an NHS Trust setting.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

The initial session will be for 30 minutes thereafter each meeting will be 1 hour. I will send a terms of service document to you in advance of our first meeting for you to review. At the first session I will respond to any questions thereafter I will ask you to approve this.
