About me
Are you looking for someone to talk to about what you are experiencing? Are you struggling with feeling anxious, depressed, or experiencing low mood? Has something changed in your life that is causing you distress? Are you or a loved one questioning or exploring your/their sexuality and/or gender identity? Are there things from the past or present that are affecting your feelings and emotions? Are you experiencing loss and bereavement?
I offer a confidential space that is non-judgmental, accepting and safe to explore and discuss your thoughts and feelings. I am open to supporting you with any issues you want to discuss. I work in a way that allows you to set the pace whilst supporting you with finding solutions and exploring your experiences. I will not pressure you to talk about or explore things that you are uncomfortable with. I understand that trust takes time to develop and that it can take time for you to feel comfortable opening up about your concerns and troubles.
I believe everyone has the ability to heal and develop within them. Even at times when they don't believe they have the ability within themselves. I aim to provide an environment where people feel heard and accepted throughout the healing process and their exploration of self.
What to expect during a first session?
During the first session we can talk about what brings you to therapy. You can ask me questions about my therapeutic practice and therapy overall. It is a chance for you to see if I am you are comfortable with me being your therapist.
Each session is 50 minutes. I currently offer online sessions through Microsoft Teams and Google Meets, and in-person sessions on Tuesdays. I offer both short-term and long-term therapy sessions. The duration of therapy is dependent on what you feel you need and can end when you feel ready.
If you have any questions or queries you want to ask me about my practice or counseling in general, please contact me by email or phone and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
