About me
I am a Person-Centred Counsellor in Glasgow offering one-to-one sessions. I create a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space for you to explore whatever has brought you to counselling. I am a member of the BACP and adhere to their code of conduct and ethical guidelines, ensuring a confidential and empathic environment for you to share whatever is going on for you.
I enjoy viewing humans as equally wonderful contributors to the world around me, all trying to make sense of our unique experiences. Within these individual journeys, we often encounter specific challenges or a sense that something is not how it should be. Side by side, we can explore this chapter of your life, perhaps working towards accepting your past, better understand yourself or gain the tools to create and carve out the life you desire most.
Training, qualifications & experience
- DipHE Person Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy
- Registered Member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
Working in psychological services within the NHS combined with Person-Centred Counselling has allowed for a varied level of experience. Offering respect, transparency and a gentle exploratory space is at the forefront of my practice.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information
For an initial session you can contact me via email. During our first meeting we can discuss what has brought you to counselling and explore how comfortable you feel speaking to me. If I also feel I can offer you support, we can then look at booking additional sessions together.
