About me
Well-Being is the Integration of What We Do, Think and Feel
I’m Rhona, a London-based therapist, and I work with adults seeking to understand the roots of long-standing emotional pain. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, weighed down by self-doubt, or disconnected from their sense of confidence and motivation. Others may struggle to maintain fulfilling relationships, often without fully understanding why.
A central part of my work is supporting people living with the impacts of unresolved historical trauma, including childhood sexual, emotional, psychological, or physical abuse. These experiences often leave invisible imprints that ripple through life — affecting the way we relate to ourselves and to others.
I also have a strong interest in neurodiversity. I work with adults navigating ADHD, dyslexia, and related challenges — particularly where these intersect with identity, confidence, and a sense of belonging. Whether you’ve had a recent diagnosis or have lived your whole life wondering why things feel harder than they "should," I offer a space to explore without shame or judgment.
My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and deeply compassionate. I believe in the quiet power of therapy to help us reframe the stories we’ve inherited — and begin to write new ones. We won’t rush. We’ll move at the pace that feels safe and right for you.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Counselling is not a quick fix. The process involves time to establish a therapeutic relationship in order to explore your concerns in depth.
Coaching focuses upon a working alliance working on your specific goals.
