I am a fully qualified and accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, I work across all age groups and have particular expertise and experience of working with young people in a secure setting who have experienced a range of difficulties. I have been working in Private practise since 2013.

I completed my undergraduate Psychology degree at The University of Aberdeen between 2002 - 2006 and started work in a secure unit for young people aged between 12 and 18 in 2007, working first in the unit setting before joining a smaller more specialised intervention team in 2009. recommendations-

Having struggled with anxiety for years now I contacted Rhona thinking there was no way I would beat this. I couldn’t be more wrong! Rhona straight away made me feel at ease. She is very approachable, genuinely interested in you and works tirelessly to support you. She inspired me to challenge myself with her fantastic attitude to life and her commitment to what she does. She has a brilliant personality that helps put a smile on your face when you are down and reassure you that the only way is forward. I have thoroughly enjoyed my sessions with Rhona. She has challenged me, made me laugh, cry and taught me to enjoy my life again. I have been armed with the tools I need and I have successfully overcome my anxiety. Truth is, it is impossible not to succeed with Rhona. I cannot thank Rhona enough for the help and support she has given me and would recommend her to anybody.

Having recently been a patient of CBT Inverclyde, I cannot recommend it highly enough. I wish I'd had access to this years ago! I did try counselling for a short time years ago but didn't feel that was for me. At CBT it's interactive and proactive. Rhona instantly puts you at ease and is brilliant at her job. I will keep in touch with her as she has helped change my life and given me the tools for a happy life!!
