Hello, I am Rhena Branch. I am a BABCP accredited CBT (cognitive behavior therapy) and REBT (rational emotive behavior therapy) psychotherapist, clinical supervisor and trainer. I Have over 15 years of experience working within private and NHS settings dealing with general psychiatric conditions.
In addition to providing individual therapy, I have written several books on CBT and its applications. My books have been translated into many languages and are sold internationally.
I also taught on the MSc CBT course at Goldsmith’s University of London for 8 years prior to relocating to Norwich. I am now an associate lecturer at the University of East Anglia.
I provide 1:1 CBT for adults over 18 years of age experiencing emotional and psychological difficulties such as anxiety (including health anxiety and social anxiety), depression, relationship problems and work stress.
CBT is an evidence based approach for dealing with common and more complex psychological disorders.
A massive body of scientific research has proven the effectiveness of CBT and it is the most recommended psychotherapeutic approach by NICE (National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence).
The approach is collaborative and transparent. This means that the client is actively involved in sessions and the rationale for suggested therapeutic activities is made clear.
Client goals are identified and regular progress reviews take place.
Each session lasts around 55 minutes.
I treat general psychiatric problems including:
Depression (uni and bi-polar)
Body image problems
Low self esteem
Please note 24 hrs is required for cancellation.
