Relate West & Mid Kent
Relate is nationally recognised as the leading specialists in relationship counselling, providing help and support for all types of relationships at all stages, from cradle to grave, from formation to separation. Our main focus is the quality and health of relationships, providing help and support for marriage, co-habitation, same sex relationships, children, families, individuals and couples.
Our services in the West & Mid Kent area include: Relationship counselling, Family counselling and counselling for Children & Young People. Our services are accessible in Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone and Sevenoaks.
We work to improve the quality of people's relationships, which can have an impact on physical and mental well-being. We work to address unaddressed conflict in relationships, and help people make those personal changes which enable them to engage in committed and loving relationships for the benefit of themselves, their family and society.
Training, qualifications & experience
All of our counsellors are specifically trained by the Relate Institute to work with relationship issues and have many years experience in this field. In addition many have also trained in the counselling field prior to joining Relate. Some Relate counsellors choose to extend their training in order to work with more specific issues, for example, Young People's work.
Relate abides by BACP's Ethical Framework for good practice in Counselling. All counsellors are supervised for their practice by a Relate qualified supervisor.
