About me

I am here to work with you and stay beside you as you take on the problems life throws at you. I am warm, open and empathic. I have a wide range of skills and can help you reach your goals. Whether this is building confidence, managing anxiety or processing trauma.

My practice is at the core person centred, I believe that you have the strength to work through your problems and I will be beside you. I will help you develop skills and strategies to achieve your goals. I am experienced in short term, solution focused therapy but also offer longer term therapy where appropriate.

I have experience working with people who have experienced domestic abuse.

Are you feeling stressed, anxious or low? Are you dealing with problems that feel overwhelming? I can help. Please get in touch for a free consultation either over video chat or by phone.

Training, qualifications & experience

I began my training in 2013 alongside working in social care. I have a diploma in therapeutic counselling and additional training in domestic abuse, anxiety, trauma and managing chronic illness.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
