About me

I offer Online, telephone and Face-to-Face Counselling and I pride myself on being a qualified and ethical therapist.  My practice offers you a safe and secure space - whether online, by telephone or face-to-face -  where you can discover your own identity and regain a sense of autonomy free from judgement.

I understand that asking for help can be a difficult first step, especially when faced with so many choices. With the choices there are also the questions; How do you know what is right for you? Who to trust when you feel vulnerable? The important thing is finding the right person to talk to  as you need someone who is approachable and open; someone you feel you can trust with your most private thoughts and feelings. The question is how do I guarantee I am that person?

The short answer is I can't! You need to find out for yourself. I offer a no obligation initial consultation that enables you to see whether I am the right counsellor for you, your needs and most importantly whether you feel we can work together.

I am a registered member with the National Counselling Society (NCS). This means that I meet the rigorous, professional standards expected by them.

I am a volunteer bereavement counsellor at my local Hospice and work with both patients, pre-bereaved and bereaved clients. This is a role that I find very rewarding and privileged to be part of their counselling team.
