Rebecca Barry - Counsellor MBACP
About me
Hello - and a warm welcome to my profile!
Here's a little about me, and you can find out more on my website if you'd like to: https://rebeccabarrycounsellor.co.uk
I am a qualified counsellor and my approach is Person-Centred Integrative. Put simply, I believe that you, the client, are the expert on your own life and know where it hurts. Even if you might not think it yet, I trust that you have the answers within; my role is to be alongside and help you find them, however challenging that might be.
A good therapeutic relationship is at the heart of counselling. I am genuine and warm, and hope you’ll find me easy to talk to. You are welcome to get in touch for a short, informal conversation and get an idea of how we might work together.
I offer sessions via Zoom or phone and have availability at weekends. Hours are from 9AM to 2PM on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
