About us

We are a Psychology Practice dedicated to offering counselling and individual psychological therapies to people who live in and around Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire with sites located in Hitchin, Ware and St Albans. We also offer  psychological therapy in West London. We offer therapy in person, face to face and online. Our team currently includes Counselling/Clinical Psychologists and Integrative Counsellors. Our service is also able to book private Autism assessments for Children and Adults, please contact the team for more details.

Training, qualifications & experience

Lead Psychologist has a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and training includes: EMDR L1-3, Child L1 EMDR, Decrypt - Cognitive Therapy (trauma focus), CBT Trauma Focused, National Autism Training Programme- Train the Trainer, ADOS and more. Key experiences include: Working in Child and adolescent mental health services, Specialist Neuro developmental services for children / families, Substance Use Services (NHS/ charity) and Private sector. 

Clinical Psychologist: Key area of interest include working with South Asian communities, drawing on Liberation Psychology/Narrative therapy approaches/ Compassionate Focused Therapy. 

Integrative Counsellors: Trained counsellors (BACP accredited), person centred with key areas of interest: anxiety, low mood, grief, trauma and working with neuro divergent people.

Prices vary depending on the practitioner and location. We offer a sliding fee scale for those on low income or students.

To see an Integrative Counsellors prices vary between £50-70 per session. Sites to see a Counsellor: Hitchin, St Albans or Online. 

To see a Counselling or Clinical Psychologist prices vary depending on site, training and experience between £120-200 per session. Sites to see a Counselling or Clinical Psychologist: Hitchin, London or Online.

Typically, the first session is an Initial Assessment to help build a formulation of presenting distress with the aim to collaboratively devise a plan for the hopes and goals from therapy.
