About me

I am a Barbican, Central London-based therapist, currently offering online therapy only.

Focusing on Life Development, Life Transformation and Life Recovery: I support you to live the richest, most satisfying and creative life possible.

Using scientifically evidenced methods, I help you to overcome the things that can get in the way of living a life of fulfilment: such as stress, anxiety, low self-esteem/self-worth, depression, bereavement and loss.

I teach you techniques that help you be more in control of the daily challenges of life.

I help you make greater sense of your life, feelings, experiences and goals.

I provide you with tools to understand better your core values and the ways you can live more in tune with them.

Who I work with

I work with a range of people all over the world.

This spans children, young adults, those re-evaluating objectives mid-career, and those in the advanced part of their lives.

Alongside professional expertise, my global working and lived experience means I am particularly sensitive to diverse cultural needs.

This includes, but is not exclusive to, people who may consider themselves either “Black”, “Indigenous”, or “People of Colour”. It also includes the dislocation and other traumatic experiences of being a refugee.

In addition, I am skilled and experienced in working with people, exploring gender, sex and relationship diversity; including those who may identify as LGBTQ+.

My Methodology

I am an integrative psychotherapist, life development coach, teacher of mindfulness and compassion focused meditation, communication skills trainer, and teacher of creative arts and their application in therapeutic, life development contexts.

My holistic therapeutic approach understands our human being not in isolation, but as a dynamic relationship between body, mind, society and the wider environment.

I assist you to develop greater harmony between your personal sense of self, your social being, and the wider natural world.

My method helps you bring back playfulness and creativity that may have been lost for many reasons: as a means to help you find a greater sense of self-love, deeper sense of fulfilment, and more profound life satisfaction.

My integrative approach, founded in Person-Centred Therapy, can utilize processes from:

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
