About me
ABOUT ME:
I am a Barbican, Central London, based integrative psychotherapist, mentor, supervisor, designer of therapeutic educational and creative programs, teacher-trainer of meditation, yoga, art and dance-theatre.
Focusing on Life Development, Life Transformation and Life Recovery: I support you to live the richest, most satisfying and creative life possible.
This is based on over 40 years of expertise enabling people to overcome challenges and maximise their potential.
WHO I WORK WITH:
I support professional, creative, existential, meditative and yogic explorations;
I facilitate mental health, addiction and burnout recovery.
I work with people from all walks of life, including CEOs, creatives, professional carers, activists, educators, students, therapists and therapists-in-training.
These people are from all around the world, as well as from a wide range of backgrounds and communities.
I work with children, teenagers and adults of all ages.
I am especially supportive of LGBTQ+, diverse ethnicities and identities, disabled, and those who may feel marginalised in some way.
Currently, I am offering online and telephone psychotherapy, mentoring and one-to-one meditation sessions. These are at flexible hours, including early mornings evenings and weekends.
MY METHODOLOGY:
My unique Psychotherapy and Mentoring systems are founded in scientific evidence, including from neuroscience. They have been developed through many years of academic personal and psychotherapeutic research
My Psychotherapy and Mentoring systems help you understand the profound interconnection of body, brain, mind, and wider world: what is called the Biopsychosocial Model.
I assist you to develop a greater harmony between your personal sense of self, your social being, and the wider natural world: a very personal deep ecology of being.
My Psychotherapy and Mentoring systems synthesise 12 core components. They involve an integration of:
- Creative therapies: art, dance, writing, photography
- Play therapy for children and adults
- Mindfulness and Compassion meditation that is trauma-informed.
- Yogic, Buddhist and wider existential approaches
- Therapeutic connection with nature, especially water therapy
- Deep psychological process
- Action and solution-oriented strategies such as cognitive behavioural therapies.
I help you to overcome the things that can get in the way of living a life of fulfilment, such as:
- Lack of clarity in achieving life goals
- Lack of purpose or meaningfulness in life
- Creative blocs
- Stress
- Anxiety
- Low self-esteem/self-worth
- Depression
- Disconnection
- Bereavement and loss
- Trauma
- Addiction
I teach you techniques that help you be more in control of the daily challenges of life.
I help you make greater sense of your life, feelings, experiences and goals: "what we can feel we can heal".
I provide you with tools to understand better your core values and the ways you can live more in tune with them.
My system helps you bring back playfulness and creativity that may have been lost for many reasons. This enables you to find a greater sense of self-love, enriched fulfilment, a more profound purpose and deeper sense of belonging.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
