About me

Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile

I am a qualified person-centred counsellor, a form of counselling that provides unconditional support and understanding in a compassionate and none-judgemental way. I work in a professional, empathic, confidential way, creating a trusting environment where we can work together to build a therapeutic relationship that allows you to feel confident and safe in sharing your thoughts and feelings whilst I provide you with consistent feedback, understanding and respect for your autonomy.

Counselling can offer you a safe space where you can look at the root cause of the problem, gain clarity and develop an understanding of how to move forward. Counselling can also help you to regain control of your life or learn to accept the things you cant control, thereby providing an opportunity for change to live in the way that you so desire, or to find happiness and balance along the way within your current situation.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
