About me

Hello! I’m Raj

I provide counselling to individuals & couples.  With individuals, I work with (but not limited to):

  • Depression & Anxiety;
  • Relationship Issues;
  • LGBTQIA+ - related Issues;
  • Racial and cultural issues/conflicts;
  • Low self-esteem;
  • Lack of fulfillment.

With couples, typical issues include:

  • affairs
  • conflict & anger
  • poor communication
  • life transitions
  • sexual difficulties
  • separation & divorce

I provide warm, confidential, and non-judgemental counselling. I am friendly and passionate about my work. Together, we can reflect on your situation to understand some of the sources of your challenges, and explore ways of moving forward to enable you to lead a more fulfilling life.

My own varied life experiences, including around difference and diversity, enable me to draw upon my personal and deep understanding of how your challenges may be affecting you. I work integratively which means that I draw on many counselling approaches to offer you a therapy that’s personalised to meet your specific needs.

More information is available on my website. Please contact me to discuss your needs.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
