About me

Hello my name is Rada and I’m an integrative Counsellor / Psychotherapist. We all experience times in our life when we could benefit from some space to talk and find a way through a crossroads.  I can offer a safe, warm and non-judgmental relationship whereby we can explore a way forward.

I am an experienced, fully qualified BACP registered and accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist. I work as part of a practice with a Couple Therapists (Relate). Additionally we will be launching a Family Therapy service within the near future.

I offer integrative therapy to adults with the aim of ensuring that I adapt to your unique and specific needs. Building a therapeutic relationship is the most important foundation to creating change and to achieve this I aim to demonstrate high levels of warmth, empathy and acceptance.

Your concerns are paramount and I focus on where your needs are, whether this is related to the present, past or future. I draw on a range of models such as: person centred, cognitive-behavioural  &  transpersonal therapies. I am also an Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) trained therapist; research suggests that this modality can be beneficial for trauma related events.

I am able to offer both short and long term work. It’s usually helpful to review our work after 6-sessions to ensure that we are meeting your needs appropriately.

I adhere to confidentiality and safeguarding policies. I also hold an up-to-date DBS/CRB check.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have clinical experience with the NHS, school setting, voluntary sector as well within the specialist Transport for London psychological trauma unit.

I hold the following relevant qualifications:

MA (Merit) Counselling & Psychotherapy

Pg. Diploma Psychological Counselling

BSc (Hons) Psychology

Plus various CPD which includes EMDR (Parts 1-3)

Other areas of counselling I deal with

I hold a specialism with therapeutically supporting Adult children and Young People who grew up with a seriously mentally distressed  parent . Some parents may have received a diagnosis such as Schizophrenia , Psychosis ,  Bi-Polar etc.  However, some parents may not have obtained a diagnosis.

Fee's are negotiable. EMDR sessions may require a longer time period and these will be charged in proportion to the allocated time. However if there are financial constraints, then please discuss and we can hopefully work towards suitable solution.

Before we commence the work, I will provide you with a copy of the  Contract with includes information such as the Cancellation and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Policy .

I initially offer a free 1/2 hour meeting so that we can explore what you may need and whether I will be able to support you with this, there is no further obligation and it would be your decision and choice about whether to proceed further.

Currently, I am able to offer appointments on Wednesday mornings in Enfield, between 9-1pm.
