About me
I am both a mental health nurse (13 years) and counsellor (5 years). I specialise in supporting adults who have experienced trauma and/or have an eating disorder or a difficult relationship with food. I am also a lecturer for mental health nurses at a local university. I am trained in a range of approaches, therefore, I can adapt the way I work to support the person and their individual needs. I can support people with a wide range of conditions and difficulties as well as having personal and professional experience of ADHD.
Training, qualifications & experience
- Mental health Nursing - BSc (Hons)
- Counselling and psychotherapeutic skills - level 5 diploma
- Specialist Community Public Health Nursing - Level 7 PG Diploma
- PGCERT- level 7 PG Diploma
I have worked with both adults and young people over the past 13 years, supporting them with a range of conditions and difficulties. I also have personal and professional experience supporting people with ADHD.
