About me
This may be your first time seeking support from a counsellor, or you may have already experienced counselling before. Either way, I understand that looking for the right counsellor can sometimes feel a little daunting.
I would like to reassure you that what ever it is that's troubling you, you don’t have to do it alone. We would work through your counselling journey together and at your own pace.
Counselling with me will offer you the time and space to explore what is going on in your life. It can help you to have a better awareness of self, process your thoughts and feelings and in turn empower you to handle your emotions.
I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor, which means I work with many different styles and techniques, so I can tailor these to best suit your needs.
What happens next-
If you'd like to meet for a no obligation introduction session then please contact me and I can check to see when our availability matches. An introduction session would be for 50 minutes, either face to face, telephone or via Zoom. This will allow us time to discuss what it is that's troubling you and how I may be able to help. And most importantly, give you a sense as to whether I am someone you'd feel comfortable with.
If you have any questions at all then please don't hesitate to contact me.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
