Dr Rachel Lewis DPsych (Counselling Psychologist)
My name is Dr Rachel Lewis and I believe that we each hold within us the ability to overcome problems in life. I became a psychologist because I wanted to support people in building hope through discovering their own resilience.
I have over thirty years of experience, working with individuals, couples and families. I have supported many to cope with issues such as bereavement, chronic illness, anxiety, depression, learning difficulties and isolation. Now, I make my services accessible to all. I offer affordable sessions through my not for profit association Resiliana (www.resiliana.com) and work remotely offering therapy online.
There may be aspects of your life that you would like to change. You may be suffering from pain, stress, unhappiness or anxiety. Perhaps, you sense a disconnect between your life now and the life that you would like to lead. You might be experiencing tension in your relationships with others or within yourself. If so, then it is my pleasure to offer you safe, caring and effective online therapy.
Trained in a variety of methods, I use a strengths based approach, to uncover resilience, build hope and discover the capabilities to overcome life's problems.
With over 30 years experience, I am committed to providing a confidential, supportive and non-judgmental space for my clients.
I care about what I do and I am committed to providing accessible and affordable counselling to people worldwide.
How to get started:
Please send me an email if you would like to get in touch.
I can then offer a getting to know you session over Zoom or by phone.
This will help me to understand your concerns and to discuss how I can best help. It will also help you to decide if this is right for you.
If you decide to continue, then we can arrange another session.
Sessions for individuals and couples last 50 minutes and occur on a weekly basis. Sessions for families last 50 minutes and occur on a monthly basis.
You can choose how long you want to stay in therapy. I offer long or short term work. Just let me know whether you would like to fix an end date or whether you are happy taking each session as it comes.
